Virtual student computer Centre (vSCC) is a service provided by PolyU to students to remotely access software at the student Centre. Follow the video instruction of your respective systems at [the bottom of the page] to complete the first-time setup the vSCC service on your computer.

- No, it only gives you the setup files for using with the RDP Application

- No. admin right is not opened, however somehow you can open regedit
- Nowever, if you find the portable version https://portableapps.com/apps , the application will be able to run as long as it doesn't need administrator previlage

- Sometimes you might have broken something in the virtual environment, shutting down and reconnecting is equivalent to a fresh start
- It works on "vDesk - Win10" and "vDesk-IC-Lab"
- But make sure copy all your work into P Drive before you do this

- Mostly, crossing out of the vDesk will do the job (which keep the vDesk running on the cloud)
- How ever if you really want to shutdown
- Open command prompt by typing "cmd" after clicking start menu
- Type : " shutdown -s -t 0 " and enter then system will disconnect after shutdown
